Community Effort
The CPI Leadership Program (CPILP) is a community effort supported by the Civic Pioneers Institute, formerly known as the Butte Pioneers Foundation. CPI is brought to you by public and private donors, and a diverse group of community leaders dedicated to improving the quality of life in Northern California.
Each year up to 25 individuals are selected to participate in the CPI Leadership Program through an application process. The program is open to individuals in government, private business, education and non-profit groups. The application process begins in July with the final selection being made in late-August.
The program will run from September 2010 through August 2011, meeting one day a month. Along with the monthly sessions, the program will feature an orientation, a two day weekend retreat, a graduation, and a host of other professional development opportunities.
